Located in the Redu-Transinne hub (Galaxia Park), the IDELUX Cybersecurity Centre addresses current and future challenges by offering cutting-edge infrastructure and unique expertise in cybersecurity and quantum cryptography. With the support of major players such as the ESA (European Space Agency), Nexova and Thales Belgium, IDELUX is aiming to create a leading ecosystem in Europe.
A unique hub bringing together simulation and quantum cryptography
Inaugurated on 7 February 2025, our Cybersecurity Centre is based on two complementary infrastructures whose combination is unprecedented in Europe:
- A cyber range with a crisis simulator developed by Nexova, to test and reinforce the resilience of IT systems to cyberattacks.
- The Gilles Brassard Quantum Cryptography Laboratory, created by Thales Belgium, explores new solutions in security based on quantum physics.
This unique synergy attracts researchers, cybersecurity professionals, businesses and institutions, reinforcing European digital sovereignty.
Strategic support from the Wallonia Government
The Wallonia relaunch Plan, through project 140, has allowed the IDELUX Cybersecurity Centre to position itself as a centre of excellence by supporting its strategic development. This investment aims to:

An immersive and practical approach to strengthen your cyber resilience
IDELUX, in partnership with Nexova, offers an innovative and practical training course to raise awareness and provide training on cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity Centre, including a cyber range and a crisis simulator, created and operated by Nexova, can recreate the conditions of a cyber crisis to help organisations better understand the threat and their ability to respond to attacks.
The three training modules offered below include practical exercises on the cyber range. It reproduces realistic virtual situations of IT/OT environments, which allows the participants to confront credible cyberattack scenarios, without compromising real infrastructures.
Each session can hold up to 20 participants. An official participation certificate is issued at the end of the training course.
