Lupulus<\/a> is a family-run Belgian brewery that makes beer,<\/span> based in Courtil in the municipality of Gouvy. Originally founded in 2004 to supply the next-door bistro with malt drinks, it was in 2007 that Pierre GOBRON and his two sons decided to create a new beer, Lupulus. Known for its famous wolf logo, designed by Jean-Claude SERVAIS, the company now has no fewer than 32 employees.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the brewery was named Trends Gazelles Ambassador for Luxembourg Province in the small business category.<\/span> The Trends Gazelle name is recognised both regionally and nationally in the business world.<\/p>\n

LARGE-SCALE PRODUCTION<\/h1>\n

The brand is known in several countries including France, Spain, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Israel, China, Brazil, Japan and Russia<\/span>. At the moment, against the backdrop of the \u201cconsume locally\u201d (\u201cconsommer local\u201d) movement, the brand is growing more and more in Belgium; indeed, 55% of its production is destined for the Belgian market. With its 8 varieties of beer<\/span> and an output of 70,000 bottles per day<\/span>, the brewery has reached its maximum production capacity and is planning to expand. That\u2019s why Lupulus<\/span> has decided to buy a plot of land at the P\u00f4le Ardenne Bois<\/a>, managed by IDELUX<\/a>, in Halconreux. The aim is to construct a building where 4,000m\u00b2 will be used for storage, and 2,000m\u00b2 for a new bottling plant. The plan involves a total expansion of 14,000m\u00b2.<\/p>\n

IDELUX IS ALL ABOUT SUPPORT<\/h1>\n

Described by Pierre GOBRON as offering \u201csupport for<\/em> economic development<\/em>\u201d, IDELUX<\/a> has been helping the brewery for a number of years now, including in particular with its expansion plans at the P\u00f4le Ardenne Bois.<\/span><\/p>\n

FUTURE PLANS<\/h1>\n

There\u2019s no shortage of exciting ideas at Lupulus<\/a>. As well as producing beer, the brewery\u2019s founder has a number of other plans in mind that he hopes to be able to bring to fruition in the coming years: \u201cWe would like to produce our own cheese with milk from a local farm, starting in the spring<\/em>. But that\u2019s not all. We also want to<\/em> invest in a canning line, but that will take some\u00a0time<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
